Terms and conditions of sale and use

The service

1calendrier brings your booking calendars together (Airbnb, Booking.com, Abritel, Google Calendar or any other calendar in the iCal format), watches them continuously and alerts you in the event of an outage on a calendar or of overlapping bookings. It provides each platform with an up-to-date calendar link.

What we do not promise

In all honesty: synchronisation between platforms depends on how often they come and read their calendar (often a matter of hours). We therefore cannot guarantee “zero double bookings” or “real time” — nobody can. Our commitment: to detect a problem and alert you as early as possible, and to show you at all times whether each platform is indeed up to date.

Availability page and booking requests

Each property may have an availability page showing its free nights and may receive booking requests there. This page is switched off by default: it exists only if the owner switches it on, and the owner may switch it off at any time.

  • 1calendrier passes on booking requests and nothing else. We are neither an agency, nor a letting intermediary, nor a booking platform.
  • We collect no payment for a stay, we set no price and we are party to no rental contract. The price, the contract, the advance payment, the security deposit and the payment are settled directly between the visitor and the owner, under their sole responsibility.
  • A booking request is not a booking: it binds nobody for as long as the owner has not accepted it. Without a reply within the time limit the owner has chosen (24, 48 or 72 hours), it is cancelled and the dates become free again.
  • The owner alone remains responsible for the content of their availability page, for the accuracy of the availability shown and for the follow-up given to requests.
  • The visitor undertakes to give accurate contact details and to send genuine requests only. Automated submissions and abusive requests are blocked, and access to requests may be closed on a property for as long as necessary.
  • At the owner's choice: the “Immediate hold” mode, in which the visitor leaves a card check in order to prove their identity. That card check is never charged, is no payment and is no security deposit; it is entrusted to our payment provider, never to us. The visitor is told about it before entering anything. In that mode, the dates are held on the owner's platforms as soon as the visitor confirms, and released automatically in the event of a refusal, a cancellation or an absence of reply.

Trial and subscription

  • 14-day free trial, no card needed.
  • Essential plan: €5.99 including VAT a month, billed in euros, or €59.90 including VAT a year (2 months free). No commitment: cancellable in two clicks, taking effect at the end of the period paid for.
  • At the end of the trial without a subscription, your calendars stop being watched but your account and your settings are kept for 60 days.

Your obligations

To use the service only for calendars you have the right to use, and to keep the calendar links generated confidential (you may generate new ones at any time should one leak).

Liability

The service is provided with the greatest care, but a double booking may occur despite the watch (the time platforms take to read a calendar, an outage on their side, and so on). Our liability is limited to the amount of the sums paid over the last 12 months.
